TERMS OF USE
Effective date: January 1, 2025
Provider: JustAskJohnny.com
Service: Our website, apps, and APIs

  1. What this site is for
    • This site is for entertainment and educational purposes only.
    • It is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
    • You are responsible for how you use any information or outputs.

  2. Who can use it
    • You must be 18 or older. If you are 13–17, use it only with a parent’s permission.
    • If you use it for a company, you promise you have permission to do so.

  3. Fair use rules
To keep the service fast and affordable for regular users, you agree to:
    • No reselling, sublicensing, or offering our service to your own customers.
    • No flooding the system with bots, scripts, or very high-volume tasks.
    • No heavy “back-office” workloads (data farms, bulk scraping, content mills, rendering/transcoding, mass labeling, background batch jobs).
    • No trying to bypass limits, spin up throwaway accounts, or hide who is using the service.

  4. Big company and offshoring limits
    • Do not use our service to offload work for a big company to save compute or labor costs.
    • “Big company” means an organization with 250+ employees or $25M+ in yearly revenue (including affiliates).
    • If you are a big company, or you serve big companies, contact us for an enterprise plan at [sales@yourdomain.com]. Without that plan, you may not use the service this way.

  5. Technical limits
    • We set reasonable limits like rate limits, storage caps, request size, and concurrency.
    • We may change these limits to protect the service for everyone. Breaking limits may lead to throttling or suspension.

  6. Your content and our service
    • You own your content.
    • We own the service, code, models, and design.
    • Outputs are provided “as is.” Check important facts before you rely on them, especially for health, money, or legal matters.

  7. Payments
    • Pay the posted price for your plan. Taxes may be added.
    • If you go over your plan, overage fees may apply.
    • We may change prices going forward with notice.

  8. Enforcement
    • We may pause or close accounts that break these rules or harm the service.
    • For serious or repeated abuse (for example, large-scale offshoring), we may ask you to move to an enterprise plan or stop using the service.

  9. Limits of liability
    • We are not liable for lost profits, data, or any indirect or special damages.
    • Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

  10. Disputes
    • Illinois law applies.
    • Any dispute will be handled by binding arbitration in Illinois.
    • No class actions; only individual claims.

  11. Changes
    • We may update these terms. If you keep using the service after updates, that means you accept the new terms.

  12. Contact via contact page.
